Our story
WELCOME! We are Gabriel and Angeline, candle makers and creators. As native Arizonans, we are just two people young at heart, hoping to create a full-sensory experience with our candles. We hope our candles take you back to a place or memory that brings you happiness and light. Married 8 years with one beautiful 30 year old daughter, Adriana, and two sweet, crazy Cocker Spaniels, Penelope and Pebbles. We love movies and music and named our scents after our favorite movie scenes or song lyrics. The name of our business was named after “Adore” by Prince.
Adore Candle began with our passion for candles, fragrance and owning our own business. In 2020, we were consultants for a candle company who closed their doors without notice. We took a step back and realized it was time to pivot and take a different path. We started small but dreamt big! After thorough research and countless hours of testing and perseverance, we decided to open our own small candle business. Through research we learned there is plenty of wax to burn through for everyone to succeed and so here we are living out our candlelit dream.
This journey has been rewarding and has saved us through our most difficult times yet. We love pouring candles and will strive to provide stellar customer service alongside our high quality candles to light up your home for personal use or as gifts.
Hand poured in our kitchen with love
We love clearing off our island in our kitchen and setting up all the supplies to make our candles. Seeing our kitchen full of vessels, wax, wicks and oils, we have clearly accepted the fact that this is not just a hobby and this makes our hearts smile!
With careful calculations of oil and color, wax is hand poured in small batches into each vessel. A hand-stamped wax seal adorns our lids. Each candle is poured, stamped and packaged in our home in Phoenix, Arizona.
